From builder to Order Printer in three steps — usually under five minutes.
Open the ShopDocs builder and start customising. Enter your business name, ABN and email — these get permanently embedded in the code so your templates are clearly licenced to your business.
Choose your colours, fonts and layout style for each document independently. Your tax invoice can look completely different to your packing slip if you want.
For the packing slip, configure which columns to show — SKU, variant, weight, quantities — and add any Shopify metafields you want to display to customers.
Your progress saves automatically to your browser as you go. If you close the tab and come back later, everything will be right where you left it.
When you're happy with your design, click Purchase. You'll be taken to a secure Stripe checkout page to complete payment of $39 AUD inc. GST.
Within seconds of payment, you'll receive an email from ShopDocs with a secure download link. The link is valid for 7 days and allows up to 3 downloads — enough to download, test, and re-download if needed.
If your link expires or something goes wrong, contact us at hello@shopdocs.com.au and we'll issue a new one manually.
The download page shows all three templates with a Copy to clipboard button for each. You don't need to download any files — just click Copy and paste directly into Order Printer.
To install each template:
1. In your Shopify admin go to Apps and open Order Printer. If you haven't installed it yet, it's free from the Shopify App Store.
2. Click Add template and give it a name — for example "ShopDocs Tax Invoice".
3. Delete all existing code in the editor, then paste your copied template code.
4. Click Save, then Preview against a recent order to confirm it looks correct.
5. Repeat for the receipt and packing slip templates.
